Portability

IR2(Interview Room Recorder) records using mjpeg format, that allows for full court admissibility, and undeniable video integrity and quality.

Mjpeg, however in its design, is very large in size, with interviews that can range from 1 gigabyte to 50gigabyte.

IR2 offers multiple portability options to export cases in the original mjpeg format, or a much smaller more portable h264 format. Below are the Export options available with our product.

1. Direct to drive(hardrive, thumbdrive, or network path)

  • Case is copied in its original format to a location of your choosing.
  • Individual pieces of the case can be selected/excluded.
  • Player Application can be included/excluded to playback original files on an external computer

2. CD/DVD

  • Case is copied in its original format to the optical media of your choosing.
  • CD/DVD/Blu-ray burners are all supported.
  • Individual pieces of the case can be selected/excluded.
  • Player Application can be included/excluded to playback original files on an external computer

3. Spanning CD/DVD

  • Case larger than a single CD/DVD/Blu-Ray disk is spanned across the needed number of disks
  • CD/DVD/Blu-ray burners are all supported.
  • Individual pieces of the case can be selected/excluded.
  • Player Application can be included/excluded to playback original files on an external computer

4. Conversion(compressed format recognized on most computers)

  • Mjpeg video and mp3 audio is converted to H264.
  • Video remains in sync regardless of varying frames per second, or dropouts that can be inherent with network video.
  • Video can be resized to smaller size for even more portability.
  • Side by side view, redaction, and notes as subtitles coming soon.
